Yep Sookie will be 1 yr old in a week. In the beginning the chances of Sook getting here were slim. It's been a long hard road for the both of us, but we made it, and Sook is so happy and healthy. I still have to tong feed, but Sook knows the routine and stalks and strikes each and every time. For Sookies birthday he now has a new viv that is 18 square with a cork climbing wall, a hammock and a rock ledge, which by the way each one is used one at a time each and everyday.
Happy Birthday Sookie, and many many more to come!
Love,
Mommy

7 months now 17 grams. Had his first waxworm last night.....ohhh candy!
He hasn't any fear so together time is now on the bed. He has a built in sonar, he knows when something is in front of him.
He seems very happy, climbing to the highest point of anything. Wow can he run and uses this to his advantage when it is out time. He knows exactly where the caves and hides are so if ya want him you have to be quick.
He is a love and everyday that I have with him is a gift.

Ahh the boy is doing just great! Eating like a little piggy these days. Had 4 crickets last night. He hides in the shadows........waits for his prey to tap him on the nose.....slowly he steps forward....BAM! He hits the tongs so hard his food goes flying. The great hunter waits again for his prey to come and tap him on the nose.....ahhhhh got it! Licks his chops and waits for more.
He is doing just wonderful. I am so glad I gave this little guy a chance at life. It has been worth all the force feedings, the worry, and time.
Mr. Sookie is going on the scale tonight to see just how much he has put on.

Wow Sookie is doing so well! I am very pleased about the last week. :D He is eating well and has caught on that supper time is the same time each night. He gets excited now when he smells his food. I can't believe how fast he can snatch the food from the tongs. Last night he had one superworm (without the head) and two cricks. His weight is 7grams/4months old. Something tells me that one day he will be a normal size LG...guess we will have to wait and see.

As of today 9/12/09 Sookie is doing well and seems happy to be my special baby. He is eating well this week eating one superworm (without the head) each night. I have noticed a difference in his appearence, getting some what bigger, color is getting brighter, sheds real well and is drinking water on his own. He now comes when I call him.....gotta just love this guy. Weigh in for everybody tonight, can't wait to see how much he is gaining.
