ABOUT ME
Hi and welcome to my website, my name is Sister Kathryn Frances, please call me Kathy. I belong to the Third Order Francisan Society, where the love of animals and nature are burned into my heart. For those of you who do not know, St. Francis was the Patron Saint of all animals great and small. I joined this Order 4 years ago knowing this is what I wanted to do with my life. I have known since I was a small child that I wanted to be amongst all of The Creators creatures . My journey with the Order has brought me here, to this site that you are now browsing.
I was raised in the state of NJ, as kids we always collected salamanders. I would gather some and put them into an empty fish tank (outside) but a family member would always let them go while I was in school. Of course I didn't apprecitate or respect these wonderful, colorful reptiles like I should have. I knew they were interesting, cute and a bit slimy and I, as some children do, lost interest. I sure am making up for it today. I am well educated about the leopard gecko, I also have of 5 years experience working "hands on" at an animal hosipital which helps in times of need. I learn something new about LG's each and everyday. Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge....
I work two jobs at the moment and just can't wait to get home so I can devote myself to my hobby of loving and raising Leopard Gecko's. My breeding is kept to a minimum so every gecko can have the respect, attention and love they deserve. I can't put into words the love and compassion I feel for these wonderful and interesting animals. So join me and lets enjoy them together.
And they are sooooo addicting!
